Application Process for Non-UT Students
To start the process, discuss your interest in participating in a UT program with your own study abroad office, your academic advisor and your financial aid advisor. Please note that currently, only the Archaeological Field School program in Belize and the Language and Culture in Salvador (Portuguese Flagship) program are available for non-UT students. If interested, complete the following forms and email them to the appropriate UT education abroad or departmental program coordinator.
Required Forms
- $75 Texas Global application fee made out to UT Austin (please write the student's name on the memo of the check)
- $75 Office of Admission processing fee made out to UT Austin (please write the student's name on the memo of the check)
- Admissions Form
- Transcript (official transcript from your current institution)
- Education Abroad Advisor Confirmation Form
- Acknowledgment Form (financial aid & credit)
Some programs may require the following:
- Essay
- Recommendation Letter(s)
- Language Evaluation
Deadlines
Texas Global must receive the Admissions Form, Official Transcript, Advisor Confirmation Form, and Acknowledgement Form by the following deadlines:
- Abroad Spring: October 1
- Abroad Summer: February 15
- Abroad Fall: March 1
Please note, department sponsored programs may have earlier deadlines.
