International Education Week
International Education Week (IEW) is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Education to promote and celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. The University of Texas at Austin participates annually in this important initiative by showcasing globally-focused events held across campus throughout the week. IEW 2024 will take place November 18-22.
Get Involved
Calling all colleges, departments, and student organizations to get involved and share with the UT community how you exemplify our motto, What Starts Here Changes the World!
Whether it is a uniquely-designed activity specifically for International Education Week or an event that reflects the themes of IEW, we look forward to celebrating and deepening the global impact of our institution.
We encourage you to spotlight your international students and faculty, returned education abroad students, and international research. Suggested activities include cultural demonstrations, panel discussions, professional development training and more.
