International Education Week

International Education Week (IEW) recognizes the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. At The University of Texas at Austin, we mark this nationally celebrated initiative by showcasing global engagement through internationally focused programs, discussions, and events across campus. IEW will take place from November 17-21, 2025.

Get Involved

Show the UT community how you embody the University’s slogan: What starts here changes the world. We invite all colleges, departments, and student organizations to get involved with IEW. Whether you’re planning a new activity or are repeating an existing event that reflects international themes, we welcome your participation. All formats — in-person, virtual, or hybrid — are welcome.

We encourage you to spotlight your international students and faculty, returned education abroad students, and international research. Suggested activities include cultural demonstrations, panel discussions, professional development training, and more.
