Accountant III, Finance and Business Services

This position will provide accounting knowledge and be responsible for supporting a diversified set of accounts and records for funding, contract maintenance, payments, reconciliations, and reporting of programs administered by Texas Global.

Accountant II, Finance and Business Services

The position will perform accounting and related assignments involving supervision of the recording, examination, analysis, and reporting of financial data in a large business area. 

Assistant International Faculty and Scholar Advisor

Assist in the processing and preparation of immigration documents for J-1 Exchange Visitors and employment-based visas. Issue documents for J-1 Exchange Visitors. Support regulatory requirements of the U.S. Department of State J-1 Exchange Visitor Program for faculty, scholars, and customized program participants. Ensure university compliance with federal regulations keeping detailed records. Provide excellent communication to international faculty and researchers and campus community.

Assistant International Student Advisor

Assist in the processing and preparation of immigration documents for F-1 and J-1 students. Ensure university's compliance with federal regulations and keep detailed records of all processes. Provide excellent communication to international students and campus community.

Assistant Manager, Passport Office

Responsible for assisting in the managing of Passport Services.  Coordinates the day-to-day workflow to meet both customer and staffing needs, including directly supervising student workers. Implements methods to improve and measure performance of the office, such as training and technological development, when necessary. Participates in short and long-range project planning for the facility.  Serves as a back-up to the Passport Office Manager.

Assistant Sponsored and Exchange Programs Advisor

The Assistant Sponsored and Exchange Program Advisor is responsible for providing administrative support for newly admitted and continuing sponsored and reciprocal exchange students attending the university. Work as a highly functioning, collaborative member of the Sponsored and Exchange Programs team, as well as ISSS as a whole.

Associate Director for ISSS

Reporting to the director of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS), the associate director oversees the university’s compliance with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Labor and other regulatory agencies applicable to enrolling international students and inviting/employing international faculty and scholars at the university. The associate director manages the unit’s immigration operations and implements ISSS strategic goals and initiatives.

Education Abroad Contracts Administrator

The Education Abroad Contracts Administrator is responsible for facilitating faculty-led program agreements, reciprocal exchange agreements and third-party academic affiliation agreements. Responsibilities include contract administration, compiling and disseminating information, and working with members of the UT community. Contractual arrangement reporting to state auditors.

International Faculty and Scholar Advisor

Advise international faculty and scholars on immigration related matters. Work closely with academic departments to support the employment strategies of their international faculty and scholars. Coordinate and file immigration petitions on behalf of international employees, in accordance with university policy. Ensure university's compliance with federal regulations and keep detailed records of all processes.

International Student Advisor

Advise international students on matters including, yet not limited to, immigration. Work closely with academic departments to support international students. Ensure university’s compliance with federal regulations and keep detailed records of all processes. Work as a highly functioning, collaborative member of the Student Immigration Advising (SIA) team, as well as International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) as a whole.

International Student Advisor for Sponsored and Exchange Programs

Responsible for the comprehensive advising of international sponsored and reciprocal exchange students. Work closely with academic departments to support international students. Ensure university’s compliance with federal regulations and keep detailed records of all processes. Work as a highly functioning, collaborative member of the Sponsored and Exchange Programs team, as well as International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) as a whole.

Passport Services Assistant

This position will assist the UT Passport Office in executing passport applications, taking photos, and advising applicants on the required documents needed to apply for a U.S. Passport.

Senior Global Strategies Officer

The Senior Global Strategies Officer (SGSO) supports the Office of Global Engagement and Strategy (OGES) and collaborates with all Texas Global units, 18 UT Schools/Colleges, faculty/staff, and international partners to advance the university’s global strategic efforts. The incumbent supervises staff responsible for administrative support of delegations, mapping, alumni relations, and development; plays a key role in mapping UT internationalization activities on campus and abroad including data collection to inform and support decision-making pertinent to the development and implementation of institutional partnerships and strategies; and coordinates inbound and outbound intra-institutional delegations within specific geographic regions. The SGSO also provides programmatic support and assists in the creation of policies and procedures that are to be implemented within the OGES and/or across the institution. The position reports to the Director of Global Alumni Relations.

Coordinate and file I-140, I-129, and other non-immigrant petitions for international faculty and scholars on behalf of The University of Texas at Austin. Work closely with academic departments to support employment strategies of international faculty and scholars. Ensure university’s compliance with federal regulations and maintain detailed records of all processes.
