Director of Global Gateway, Mexico

Under the direction of Senior Vice Provost of Global Engagement, this position will carry out the duties of the Mexico Gateway Office and UT Austin as represented by the interests and needs of faculty and students on campus, as well as alumni. The Director works closely with the SVPGE’s leadership team and UT Austin campus stakeholders to identify and implement strategic global engagement opportunities for UT Austin, expand the number and scope of global programs, and increase UT Austin’s engagement in Mexico and the region. Social Media Strategist

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Communications, the Social Media Strategist will promote and build global engagement at the university through strategic planning, creation and distribution of digital content utilizing multiple social media channels relating to the global portfolio and digital marketing campaigns. 

Digital Project Manager

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Digital Project Manager will develop, execute, and manage digital properties for Texas Global.

Academic Program Coordinator

Responsible for advising students and managing a portfolio of education abroad programs. Duties include designing programs, promotion, participant recruitment and selection, and pre-departure preparation; coordination with domestic and international partners; and associated administrative tasks.

Contract Specialist

Reporting to the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer at Texas Global, the Contract Specialist is responsible for the oversight and administration of contracts and agreements for Texas Global; the cultivation of relationships to support the successful facilitation of university processes; and management of records to document all steps of the contract negotiation process.

Assistant Vice Provost for Programs, Texas Global

Reporting to the Senior Vice Provost for Global Engagement (SVPGE), and serving in a key leadership role, the Assistant Vice Provost for Programs at Texas Global works closely with university leadership; colleges, schools, and units; and international stakeholders to advance campus internationalization. The position provides oversight of strategic initiatives and high-profile global engagement programs, manages the flow of assigned projects, and serves as a key member of the Senior Vice Provost’s core leadership team.

International Student Advisor

Advise international students on matters including, yet not limited to, immigration. Work closely with academic departments to support international students. Ensure university’s compliance with federal regulations and keep detailed records of all processes. Work as a highly functioning, collaborative member of the Student Immigration Advising (SIA) team, as well as International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) as a whole.

Assistant International Student Advisor

Assist in the processing and preparation of immigration documents for F-1 and J-1 students. Ensure university's compliance with federal regulations and keep detailed records of all processes. Provide excellent communication to international students and campus community.

Peace Corps Recruiter

Serving as a member of the Special Initiatives team, the incumbent is responsible for the management of the Peace Corps campus recruitment activities.
