Academic Records Administrative Associate
The Academic Record Administrative Associate position, located in the Education Abroad unit, is part of the core administration, and reports to Academic Records Program Coordinator. Responsible for processing study abroad credit and for recommending and implementing improvements to credit processes and technology systems. Assist students while abroad and upon return with course equivalency, credit and grade questions and works closely with staff in Education Abroad, other study abroad offices on campus, the Office of the Registrar, and the Graduate and International Admissions Center (GIAC) on credit matters.
Accountant III, Finance and Business Services
This position will provide accounting knowledge and be responsible for supporting a diversified set of accounts and records for funding, contract maintenance, payments, reconciliations, and reporting of programs administered by Texas Global.

Assistant Director for Community Development and Outreach

Assistant Sponsored and Exchange Programs Advisor
The Assistant Sponsored and Exchange Program Advisor is responsible for providing administrative support for newly admitted and continuing sponsored and reciprocal exchange students attending the university. Work as a highly functioning, collaborative member of the Sponsored and Exchange Programs team, as well as ISSS as a whole.
Associate Director for ISSS
Reporting to the director of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS), the associate director oversees the university’s compliance with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Labor and other regulatory agencies applicable to enrolling international students and inviting/employing international faculty and scholars at the university. The associate director manages the unit’s immigration operations and implements ISSS strategic goals and initiatives.
Director, Education Abroad
The Texas Global Director for Education Abroad will be a seasoned, visionary, creative, entrepreneurial and collaborative leader who will be eager to build on the successes of The University of Texas at Austin’s learning abroad programs. The incumbent will have experience leading teams of professionals that develop, implement, manage, and market a broad range of highly innovative experiential programs. Additionally, the director is expected to have demonstrated experience in the management of a comprehensive learning abroad office in the areas of strategic planning; budget management; contract negotiations/compliance; international partnership development; student advising practices; and risk and safety management response. The incumbent is also expected to have in-depth knowledge of the field, scholarship and trends of study abroad, with a proven track record of successfully implementing best practices. This position reports to the senior vice provost for global engagement.
Education Abroad Contracts Administrator
The Education Abroad Contracts Administrator is responsible for facilitating faculty-led program agreements, reciprocal exchange agreements and third-party academic affiliation agreements. Responsibilities include contract administration, compiling and disseminating information, and working with members of the UT community. Contractual arrangement reporting to state auditors.
Global Customized Programs Team Lead
The team lead on the Global Customized Program (GCP) team is tasked to provide coordination over a portfolio of grant and custom programs. Working closely with Global Programs and Innovation (GPI) leadership, the team lead proactively ensures effective project management and communication to successfully develop and implement programs.
International Faculty and Scholar Advisor
Advise international faculty and scholars on immigration related matters. Work closely with academic departments to support the employment strategies of their international faculty and scholars. Coordinate and file immigration petitions on behalf of international employees, in accordance with university policy. The intercultural program coordinator in International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) coordinates programs to support the academic, cultural, and social adjustment of students and scholars.
Passport Services Assistant
This position will assist the UT Passport Office in executing passport applications, taking photos, and advising applicants on the required documents needed to apply for a U.S. Passport.
Senior International Faculty and Scholar Advisor
Coordinate and file I-140, I-129, and other non-immigrant petitions for international faculty and scholars on behalf of The University of Texas at Austin. Work closely with academic departments to support employment strategies of international faculty and scholars. Ensure university’s compliance with federal regulations and maintain detailed records of all processes.
