Accountant III, Finance and Business Services

To perform accounting and related assignments involving supervision of the recording, examination, analysis, and reporting of financial data in a large business area. The incumbent will be responsible for exercising sound, independent judgment, and thought in the application of advanced accounting knowledge involving routines of considerable complexity and in the preparation of a variety of complex regular and special financial reports and statements. Prepares yearend adjusting, closing, and balance forward entries for assigned departmental accounts. Prepares or assists in the preparation of the monthly and annual financial report for Texas Global.

Accountant III, Finance and Business Services

This position will provide accounting knowledge and be responsible for supporting a diversified set of accounts and records for funding, contract maintenance, payments, reconciliations, and reporting of programs administered by Texas Global.

Assistant Director, Global Risk & Safety

The Assistant Director of Global Risk & Safety provides operational management and execution of unit programs, procedures, and training as it pertains to employee and student international travel, and leads the education and training function of the unit. This position has a university-wide scope which includes coordinating responses for health and safety emergencies abroad associated with university travelers.

Associate Director, ISSS

Reporting to the director of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS), the associate director oversees the university’s compliance with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Labor and other regulatory agencies applicable to enrolling international students and inviting/employing international faculty and scholars at the university. The associate director manages the unit’s immigration operations and implements ISSS strategic goals and initiatives. 

Assistant International Student Advisor

Assist in the processing and preparation of immigration documents for F-1 and J-1 students. Ensure university's compliance with federal regulations and keep detailed records of all processes. Provide excellent communication to international students and campus community.

Assistant Sponsored and Exchange Programs Advisor

Responsible for providing administrative support for newly admitted and continuing sponsored and reciprocal exchange students attending the university. Work as a highly functioning, collaborative member of the Sponsored and Exchange Programs team, as well as ISSS as a whole.

Finance Manager, Finance and Business Services

Reporting to the Assistant Director for Finance, Grants, and Contracts at Texas Global, the Finance Manager will be responsible for directing and managing accounting and financial reporting functions for assigned units within Texas Global. 

International Faculty and Scholar Advisor

Advise international faculty and scholars on immigration related matters. Work closely with academic departments to support the employment strategies of their international faculty and scholars. Coordinate and file immigration petitions on behalf of international employees, in accordance with university policy. Ensure university's compliance with federal regulations and keep detailed records of all processes. (2 positions)

Intercultural Program Coordinator

The intercultural program coordinator in International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) coordinates programs to support the academic, cultural, and social adjustment of students and scholars.

Passport Services Assistant, Passport Services

To assist the UT Passport Office in executing passport applications, taking photos, and advising applicants on the required documents needed to apply for a U.S. Passport.

Program Manager, Global Innovation Lab

Serve as key team member of the Global Innovation Lab (GIL) in the Office of the Senior Vice Provost for Global Engagement collaborating with peers and supervisors to consider new ways to engage the GIL globally, based on market demands. GIL focuses on capacity building and support for entrepreneurs in their communities to overcome local challenges, create jobs and drive sustainable economic development. GIL is part of the Global Programs & Innovation (GPI) group at Texas Global which works with governments, university and industry to train emerging leaders, professionals and entrepreneurs at UT and around the world.

Senior International Faculty and Scholar Advisor

Coordinate and file I-140, I-129, and other non-immigrant petitions for international faculty and scholars on behalf of The University of Texas at Austin. Work closely with academic departments to support employment strategies of international faculty and scholars. Ensure university’s compliance with federal regulations and maintain detailed records of all processes.

Senior International Student Advisor

Serve as senior advisor for international student advising and immigration compliance issues. Assist academic departments and campus community to support international students. Work as a highly functioning, collaborative member of the student advising team and International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS).

Senior Global Health and Insurance Program Coordinator

The Senior Global Health and Insurance Program Coordinator of Global Risk & Safety is a highly administrative position that provides operational management and execution of insurance and health clearance programs, procedures, and training as it pertains to inbound international students and scholars, and outbound employees and students. This position serves as the University’s primary point of contact and authority for international insurance and health clearances.

Senior Grants and Contracts Specialist, Texas Global

Reporting to the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer (CFAO) at Texas Global, the Senior Grants and Contracts Specialist will be responsible for fulfilling contract administration responsibilities for Texas Global. The position is responsible for supporting a wide range of responsibilities that require procurement and contractual review, applying contractual judgment and expertise to assist in delivering information and decision support. Responsible for a broad scope of contractual activities, including but not limited to assisting with preparation, submission, management, tracking, and close-out of business contracts, ensuring best practices and compliance with The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Texas System rules and regulations.

The senior outreach program coordinator manages International Student and Scholars Services (ISSS) communication and initiatives that support and enrich the on-campus experiences for the international student and scholar community.

Senior Program Coordinator

At the direction of Texas Global leadership, the Senior Program Coordinator is tasked to manage an assigned portfolio of grants, contracts, and custom programs, and perform complex administrative/programmatic responsibilities. The incumbent is responsible for the management, development, and implementation of short-term customized programs.
