Administrative Associate, Education Abroad

The Administrative Associate located in the Education Abroad unit reports to an Assistant Director and is responsible for administrative elements related to international program design and student records management.

Assistant Director for Community Development and Outreach

Reporting to the director of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS), the assistant director for community development and outreach is responsible for programming and services that assist students and scholars to achieve their social, academic, and professional goals throughout their university careers.

Associate Director, ISSS

Reporting to the director of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS), the associate director oversees the university’s compliance with U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Labor and other regulatory agencies applicable to enrolling international students and inviting/employing international faculty and scholars at the university. The associate director manages the unit’s immigration operations and implements ISSS strategic goals and initiatives.

Education Abroad, Assistant Director of Experiential Learning

Provide leadership to the experiential learning team, which advances the mission and vision of Texas Global in collaboration with academic departments and international partners to support innovative programming and exceptional student services. Ensure that core functions of the team are carried out effectively.

Education Abroad Contracts Specialist

The Education Abroad Contracts Specialist is responsible for facilitating faculty-led program agreements, reciprocal exchange agreements and third-party academic affiliation agreements. Responsibilities include contract administration, compiling and disseminating information, and working with members of the UT community. Contractual arrangement reporting to state auditors.

Global Customized Program, Senior Program Coordinator

The Senior Program Coordinator is a member of the Global Customized Programs team tasked to manage an assigned portfolio of grants, contracts, and custom programs, and perform complex administrative/programmatic responsibilities. The incumbent is also responsible for the management, development, and implementation of short-term customized programs.

Global Customized Program, Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator is a member of the Global Customized Program team tasked to develop and deliver campus programming and assigned contracted custom programs.  The incumbent is responsible for providing support to the development and implementation of grant funded programs.

Global Innovation Lab, Assistant Program Manager - Business Development

The Assistant Program Manager serves as a key team member of the Global Innovation Lab (GIL) collaborating with peers and their supervisor to consider new ways to engage GIL globally, based on market demands.

Graphic Designer

Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer, the Graphic Designer will promote Texas Global and The University of Texas at Austin through compelling visual design.

International Student Advisor

Advise international students on matters including, yet not limited to, immigration. Work closely with academic departments to support international students. Ensure university’s compliance with federal regulations and keep detailed records of all processes. Work as a highly functioning, collaborative member of the Student Immigration Advising (SIA) team, as well as International Student and Scholar Services(ISSS) as a whole.

Senior Faculty and Scholar Advisor

Coordinate and file I-140, I-129, and other non-immigrant petitions for international faculty and scholars on behalf of The University of Texas at Austin. Work closely with academic departments to support employment strategies of international faculty and scholars. Ensure university’s compliance with federal regulations and maintain detailed records of all processes.
