Visiting Delegations

Texas Global welcomes requests from international universities, government agencies, corporations, and organizations interested in visiting The University of Texas at Austin. We work to connect visitors with relevant campus partners and create meaningful engagements that align with the university's academic, research, and strategic priorities.

International Visitors

If you represent an international organization and wish to visit UT Austin, please complete the Request a Delegation Visit form linked below. Due to the high volume of requests we receive, we may not be able to accommodate every visit. Before submitting your request, please note:

  • Requests must be submitted at least 30 days in advance. Requests submitted with less than 30 days' notice may not be accommodated.
  • Visits cannot be scheduled during university holidays, campus closures, final exams, or graduation periods.
  • Visits during the summer session (May to August) may be limited due to the availability of faculty, staff, and University leadership.
  • At least one member of the visiting party should be fluent in English. If a professional interpreter will accompany the delegation, please include them in the delegation list.
  • International visitors are responsible for their own travel, accommodations, and transportation. Please refer to UT Austin’s visitor resources page for further information on getting to and around campus.

Once your request is submitted, a member of the Texas Global team will review it and contact the designated point of contact within 2-3 business days regarding next steps, availability, and potential campus partners.

UT Austin Colleges, Schools and Units

Texas Global coordinates visits that involve multiple colleges, schools, research centers, or administrative units across the university. These visits often require campus-wide coordination, strategic alignment, and engagement with university leadership.

Colleges, schools, and units should host international visitors directly when a visit is focused on their area of expertise or activities. We welcome updates about these visits, as they help us maintain awareness of UT Austin's international engagement and identify opportunities for future collaboration.

If a visit is expected to involve multiple campus units, senior university leadership, or other strategic considerations, Texas Global should be engaged early in the planning process to coordinate the visit and ensure a cohesive university-wide experience.

Some criteria taken into consideration for involvement of University leadership include:

  • Visit involves dignitaries, high-ranking government officials, or university leadership from the international organization.
  • Delegations from Export Control designated countries of concern.
  • Visit should include multiple campus units beyond a single department or college/school.
