Our Education Abroad Peer Mentors are on the front lines of our outreach efforts. They are available for your initial advising session, can be requested to present to a class or other organization events, and can be seen tabling across campus!

Hey y’all! My name is Heavenly-Jade and I’m a fourth-year student studying Sociology and History at UT. I had the pleasure of completing my second study abroad experience with UT this past summer in Spain and I count down the days till I can return! Howdy y’all! I am a fourth-year nursing student here at UT. I was lucky enough to study abroad in the spring of my freshman year, and this past May. Whether you are trying to decide if studying abroad is possible with a busy major, choosing between programs, or just figuring out where to start, I am happy to share my experiences and answer questions. Hi guys! I am an incoming junior Public Relations major at Moody. In 2025, I participated in the faculty-led Pro-Social Public Relations program in Dublin, Ireland. Studying abroad was an amazing experience that allowed me to build connections and helped me to narrow down what I wanted to do in the future. Hi guys! I’m Kaitlin, and I’m a double major in IRG and rhetoric with a minor in Spanish and the business Spanish certificate. I’m also in LAH. I’ve had the amazing opportunities to see the beautiful mountainous coasts of Santander and ride horses around Cotopaxi volcano—all while practicing Spanish and learning/working. I would love for others to get the opportunity to see inspiring sights, get a little uncomfortable, and learn from those that are different from oneself. From getting sick abroad to living with a host family, I’m here to share my stories in order to ease your worries before starting your own adventure. Let’s do this!

I studied abroad this past May in Morocco, learning about Multiculturalism in Morocco and it was a life-changing experience and even inspired me to pick up my minor.
