myIO for Scholars

Welcome to myIO. This page details what you need to know about how to best use the service during your time at The University of Texas at Austin. myIO is an immigration case management system utilized by Texas Global at The University of Texas at Austin to assist International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS).

If you are having issues logging into myIO, please try the following:

• Use only the top-level URL for myIO: https://isss.io.utexas.edu/. Saved bookmarks may no longer work.
• Clear the cache and cookies from your browser.
• Use Firefox or Internet Explorer when accessing myIO. We have heard that users have issues accessing myIO in Chrome.

J-1 Exchange Visitors

Passport Update

Upload a copy of your latest Passport.

Update Your Visa

Upload a copy of your latest Visa.

Replace a DS-2019

Is your DS-2019 lost or damaged? Use this form to request a new one.

Archived Immigration Documents

Are you a former J-1 Scholar and need archived immigration documents? You can request copies of them through this form.

Transfer Out

Let us know if you are looking to transfer your DS-2019 to another program.

Add Your Child to Your Document

Complete this form to request a DS-2019 for dependent children.

Add Your Spouse to Your Document

Complete this form to request a DS-2019 for your spouse.

Update Insurance

Has your insurance expired or is about to expire? Update ISSS with your latest insurance information. Having current valid insurance is required to maintain a valid J-1 Status.
