Hungkuang University
We partnered with Hungkuang University in Taiwan to deliver the 2025 Summer Nursing Program. In close collaboration with the UT Austin School of Nursing, this program included academic content and site visits as well as cultural activities to immerse participants in Austin life.
The interactive coursework was led by UT Austin School of Nursing faculty with expertise in global health, healthcare systems, and policy. Class time was enhanced by site visits to local clinics, hospitals, and even a simulation center so that participants could gain hands-on experience to prepare them for careers in nursing.
This journey at UT Austin was more than just learning about nursing. It brought me new friends, a broader worldview, and a deeper understanding of diverse cultures, along with memories I’ll never forget. I truly hope that if I ever get the chance, I can go back.
