Hiroshima University

We partnered with Hiroshima University in Japan in 2019 and 2024 to deliver two unique custom programs, centered on U.S. Social Studies Education and Entrepreneurship with Generative Artificial Intelligence/Data Science, respectively. Both programs integrated academic content with site visits and cultural activities focused on connecting with UT students.

In 2024, session facilitators provided tangible examples of successful initiatives at UT Austin and throughout the community that deepened participants’ insights into the Austin ecosystem. The English Language Center also facilitated classes for the visiting students, providing them with an opportunity to build their sociolinguistic skills in English.
