UT Engineering Professors Receive International Awards for Teaching, Research

The Society of Petroleum Engineers honored two professors in the Cockrell School of Engineering with international awards for their significant contributions to the field of petroleum engineering.
Professors Mukul Sharma and Kamy Sepehrnoori are part of the Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering and have previously won several awards from the Society of Petroleum Engineering.
Sharma received an honorary membership to the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He has published hundreds of journal articles, created 23 patents and is heavily decorated by several respected institutions in the field.
Sepehrnoori received the Distinguished Achievement Award for Petroleum Engineering Faculty, which recognizes his superior commitment to education and strides in research.
