International Symposium On Online Journalism Taking Place Virtually July 20-24

The historic International Symposium on Online Journalism, which attracts journalists, media executives and academics from around the world to the University of Texas at Austin, will take place virtually during the week of July 20 to 24.
The annual program, presented by the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas, will feature international journalists and Moody faculty experts covering topics ranging from news misinformation to seeking equity in the newsroom. The unique global forum has bridged the gap between the news industry and academia for 21 years.
Registration for the free workshops is now open. Attendees will hear from a diverse line-up of editors, producers, executives, and academics in a series of workshops, panels and social networking events centered on the evolution of online journalism and the impact of the pandemic on journalism today.
