After winning the President’s Award For Global Learning in 2018, a team of four interdisciplinary students took their research abroad this summer to help the community impacted by the 2017 earthquake in Puebla, Mexico. The students collected data on the quality of life in underserved regions and built connections with families in the area, identifying key issues that prevented the residents from rebuilding their homes over the past two years.

Watch how this team of students used their project to connect with the community and help solve real-world issues abroad.
