Texas Global and the Texas Exes invite the international Longhorn community to participate in the Texas Global Dialogues, a new event series for alumni around the world to connect and engage with leading UT faculty and experts in their region.

Each Texas Global Dialogues event convenes a panel of leading experts from the university and professionals in the field to explore critical global issues. The event series offers Longhorn alumni living in 176 countries an opportunity to connect, network and discuss the latest research activities and updates from the Forty Acres.

The first Texas Global Dialogues will focus on Journalism in Latin America, featuring the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas and a distinguished panel of UT faculty, alumni and journalists from the region. UT alumni in Latin America and the Caribbean are invited to join virtually on August 4.

Panelists include UT journalism professor Rosental Alves, reporter and columnist Patrícia Campos Mello, founder of EnRe2Laguna Javier Garza and CNN Chile journalist Fernando Paulsen. The event will be moderated by Dr. Sonia Feigenbaum, Senior Vice Provost for Global Engagement.

Registration for this event is now open. Visit the Texas Global Dialogues page to learn more and find other upcoming events.
