Global Professional Training: East and Southeast Asia Symposium

Join Texas Global for the 2023 Global Professional Training: East and Southeast Asia Symposium on Saturday, January 21st! This one-day symposium is designed for students interested in exploring professional, research, and volunteer opportunities across East and Southeast Asia. The symposium will include interactive breakout sessions, an information fair, and career panels that will further your knowledge of East and Southeast Asia as well as provide resources for seeking careers which engage with the region.

Students registering for the symposium can also apply to become a GPT East and Southeast Asia Student Ambassador. Student ambassadors are part of a selective cohort of student leaders who support the planning of the symposium and create new intercultural programming opportunities related to the region throughout the academic year.

Symposium highlights include:

• Expert speakers and in-depth discussions on Asia’s geopolitical and socioeconomic trends
• Interactive workshops on networking and building careers related to the region
• Information fair with campus and community resources & potential employers
• Free Asian-themed lunch, dinner, snacks, raffle prizes, & Lunar New Year celebration and cultural performance!

• NO Registration Fee
