Vickie Yllander

Vickie Yllander holds a B.A. in English Literature and an M.A. in Linguistics from Louisiana State University. While studying there, she first discovered her passion for language teaching through working with international undergraduate students. Those experiences led her to South Korea where she taught EFL at a university in Seoul. After several rewarding years abroad, she returned to the United States to pursue doctoral studies at UT Austin, bringing a global perspective into her studies and work in both university and adult education settings. She remains as enthusiastic about the classroom as ever. She’ll tell you it's the best job in the world.
