Torrey has been in his current role since May 2022. He began working at Texas Global (and UT Austin) in December 2021, starting out as an international student advisor.

When not spending time with his son, Torrey likes to play tennis, jog, curate NFTs to add to his growing digital art collection, dabble with blockchain technology, and teach himself programming (Python, JavaScript, and C# in particular).

Torrey received his bachelor’s degree in philosophy summa cum laude from Rutgers University-New Brunswick in 2010. That same fall, he began University of Notre Dame’s doctoral program in philosophy, where he received his master’s degree in 2013.
