Stephanie joined the Texas Global team in 2022 and is eager to help UT students have amazing, life-changing experiences abroad.

Stephanie’s first time overseas was a two-week program in Shandong, China, which sparked her passion for travel and international education. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Stephanie moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan to earn her BA in History and East Asian Studies from Kalamazoo College. During this time, she participated in a semester-long study abroad program in Beijing.

After graduating from college, Stephanie worked as an Assistant Language Teacher with the JET Program in Saitama, Japan for three years. There, she taught English to Japanese high school students and worked with the local event-planning organization. Stephanie now comes to Austin from New York City, where she had been working for two years as a Program Officer for a study abroad provider.

Stephanie hopes to further explore Austin as her new home, and to travel to new countries such as Italy, Thailand, South Africa, and New Zealand. In her free time, she enjoys trying new food, hiking, museums, and spending time with her friends and pets.
