Originally from Mississippi, Sarah pursued the arts throughout college, earning an Associate of Arts in Studio Art at Itawamba Community College before transferring to the University of Mississippi where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design. Through multiple internships and an active role in student creative organizations, she discovered a love for marketing materials in the realm of higher education. Her most recent role was as a residence hall director for Itawamba Community College in Fulton, Mississippi, where she did everything from designing marketing materials for housing events and office development to overseeing operations, ensuring the safety and upkeep of the college’s newly built co-residential honors and leadership dorm.
In addition to her career as a graphic designer, Sarah is also a multifaceted fine artist. Her influences come from things she holds close: the colors of the southern landscape, the simplicity and power in automotive design; even the dark and strange.
Sarah loves relaxing and exploring outdoors. She's a big foodie so is looking forward to trying out Austin's restaurant scene. Her two cats, Hitch and Boujie, also relocated with her from Mississippi and they are all excited to be starting the next life chapter with us.
