Remi Macias

Senior Business Analyst

Remi Macias is the senior business analyst for Texas Global at The University of Texas at Austin, responsible for the development of sustainable technology solutions across the organization.

Prior to joining Texas Global in January 2022, Remi served as a lead instructor and was a trusted voice and friendly face to many within Texas Development and across campus since 2008. His work focused on projects related to the evolution of application support for VIP and Eloqua, as well as the migration of UTLearn instructor-led training to online, on-demand courses.

Remi is a native Texan and local Austinite, born and raised. He received his B.A. in Communication Studies from Texas State University. Remi loves the Texas Hill Country and swimming in spring fed swim holes. He is also a passionate hat collector, with over 300 hats. He speaks Spanish and has traveled to Jamaica, Mexico, Spain, and India.
