Moriah Mock

Moriah joined the Education Abroad team in 2021 and looks forward to helping UT students study abroad.
 
Moriah’s first time on a plane or out of the country was on her way to a year-long Rotary Youth Exchange in Lima, Peru. That experience sparked a passion for cultural exchange and travel. She went on to participate in a research program in Rosario, Argentina during her undergraduate studies and later lived abroad with her husband in Shanghai, China.
 
Moriah holds an MBA and a BA in Spanish from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to joining Texas Global, Moriah worked as an International Program Manager at the University of Pittsburgh College of Business Administration where she managed and built study abroad programs specifically tailored for business students. Additionally, she worked for the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) as a Scholarship and Alumni Coordinator helping students to gain funding for their study abroad programs and carry the skills gained into their next steps. As a first generation college graduate, Moriah is especially passionate about first generation support.
 
When not at work, Moriah enjoys all kinds of outdoor activities, including hiking, trail running, camping, and skiing. She also loves traveling, and particularly road trips. Moriah is excited to help Longhorns learn and grow through an international experience!
