A native of San Marcos, Texas, Monet holds a BBA in International Business, Accounting and Sports Management from the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW), in San Antonio, Texas. Before joining Texas Global, she served as UIW's Coordinator of International Student and Visitor Activities. Her background also includes integral roles with the Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne (UIPM) and various sports organizations, bringing a wealth of experience in building cross-cultural partnerships and programs. A former member of the U.S. National and World Team in Modern Pentathlon, a demanding multi-discipline sport, Monet discovered her passion for travel and global engagement through her athletic pursuits. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new cities, attending local performances, and spending time with her husband and two cats.
