Marvin Rue, Jr.

Assistant Faculty and Scholar Advisor

Marvin Rue, Jr. is an assistant faculty and scholar advisor and reports to Mayra Cortez-Cotto. Marvin received his Bachelor’s degree in International/Global Studies from California Lutheran University (CLU). During his undergraduate studies, Marvin served as an assistant international student advisor for CLU’s Office of International Students and Scholars. After graduation, Marvin traveled to Taiwan where he spent the past three years working as a foreign teacher to kindergarteners and ESL students.

Marvin enjoys painting, music, and theatrical arts. He also studied martial arts in Shanghai and has been interested in boxing / kickboxing since then.
