Hima recently graduated from SMU Cox School of Business with an MS in Business Analytics. During her Master’s program, she was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and worked on data analytics projects for companies such as the Dallas Stars, North Tarrant Express, and Costco.
Prior to her program at SMU, Hima worked in India, serving as a Merchant Risk Analyst at American Express, partnering with local and global teams to analyze large volumes of data to mitigate bankruptcy risk and as a Marketing Campaign Analyst at Genpact (a consultant for Synchrony), where she analyzed data to work with the marketing managers of various large-scale U.S. retail clients to implement complex marketing strategies. Hima received a Master of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal.
During her free time, Hima likes to cook and explore local parks and trails. Recently, she’s taken up a new hobby that has her really excited - photography - and she can’t wait to begin capturing artistic compositions.
