Since joining Texas Global in 2022, Gary has garnered praise from our esteemed partners in Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, and Saudi Arabia for his contributions to the Global Innovation Lab projects we implemented. Additionally, he has played a pivotal role as academic director for our on-campus US Department of State-funded YSEALI program.

Prior to joining UT-Austin, Gary worked as a consultant for global marketing groups assisting companies with leadership, marketing, and business development strategies. He is also a guest lecturer at the University of Texas.

Gary also previously worked with Nike, where he was the Global Business Director for his division. He oversaw the wholesale, retail and marketing distribution functions, and has worked extensively with a multitude of diverse groups across the globe.

Gary holds a B.S. in Near Eastern Studies from Brigham Young University and an M.S. in Organizational Leadership & Ethics from St. Edward’s University. He also brings with him over two decades of invaluable experience in the international business sector.
