Claire is a native Houstonian. She was a union organizer in her previous life, both in Oregon and in Texas. Between organizing jobs and to avoid dark Pacific Northwest winters, she traveled extensively in Central and South America, volunteering and learning Spanish along the way. This led to a change in careers to immigration advising at UT. She loves cats, classical music, flowers, and poetry. Claire has traveled to 24 countries and hopes to add many more to the list.
