Sydney Chaney

Sydney Chaney is the Sponsored and Exchange Advisor in International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS). She has previously served as an international student immigration advisor and assistant international student immigration advisor within ISSS. Sydney holds a master’s degree in teaching and a bachelor’s degree in psychology. During her undergraduate degree, she studied abroad in Guatemala and worked on a coffee farm. Before joining Texas Global in 2019, she worked as a school director of an international school and an ESL teacher both in Colombia and the US.

In her free time, Sydney enjoys traveling, taking care of plants, exploring Austin’s parks, and spending time with her dog, Morita.
