Laura Caloudas

Assistant Director for Experiential Learning


Laura previously worked as a Program Coordinator in Education Abroad in 2015 then taking a Senior Program Coordinator position leading the President’s Award for Global Learning program in 2018.  Laura earned her Master’s degree in international development from George Washington University and a bachelors degree in international relations from American University and studied abroad at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic.

Laura has overseen international programs in Sub-Saharan Africa, Central and South Asia, and the Balkans and traveled to Bangladesh, Bosnia, DKR, Rwanda, and Turkey.  In her new role, Laura will oversee internship and service learning programs as well as some new program initiatives for first year students.  She will also lead the Liberal Arts academic cluster team.  Please give Laura a warm welcome back to Education Abroad when you see her next.
