Angela has nearly two decades of experience in international business development, supply chain management, and economic development, at both the local and regional level. She also has deep experience with the Austin Startup Ecosystem and has worked with local Austin entrepreneurs, incubators, accelerators, venture capital investors, as well as with international entrepreneurs from various countries around the world.
Angela holds a Master of Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin and is fluent in English and Spanish. She currently sits on the board as VP of Corporate Affairs for the Austin Saltillo Sister Cities Association, a chapter of Austin Sister Cities International. She is also a co-founder of the nonprofit South Texas Advanced Manufacturing Partnership (STAMP), an economic development organization supporting industry and trade growth in South Texas, and was the founder and former Executive Director for Think Bilingual Austin, a regional nonprofit that supported families, individuals and academic and other organizations in bilingual education.
During her free time, Angela enjoys exploring new places and having new adventures with family and friends. She loves traveling, hiking, walking her dog, listening to music, visiting museums, and watching performances.
