Aimee is joining the Global Programs & Innovation Team as an Assistant Program Manager in our Global Innovation Lab (GIL), bringing more than 25 years of product development and business experience. Most recently Aimee was Director of Production & Artisan Development at Noonday Collection, where she supported artisan businesses across 15 different countries with a focus in Latin America. In fact, she joined our recent YLAI program as a pitch coach providing invaluable mentoring to several of our Fellows. Aimee has extensive branding and marketing experience having worked with a variety of companies that include brands such as Soleus Running, Columbia Timing, Fossil and even Disney. With a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of North Texas in Denton, she knows what it means to be Mean Green!

On a personal note, Aimee is a native Texan having grown up in South Texas and lived in Austin for the past 20 years. She is married with 2 kids, ages 12 and 15, and loves to cheer them on in their respective sports. Football is a particular favorite and Aimee makes sure everyone is involved by creating all the fan gear for their local high school football booster club. When not cheerleading for her children, she loves to stay active running and volunteering, even combining the two by volunteering with the Healthy Kids Running Series. Her family also includes a white Boxer named Izzy who they rescued from Austin Boxer Rescue – rescue dogs are the best! Aimee has visited 22 countries and her interest in new cultures started at an early age when she would join her mother, a high school counselor, to help chaperone international trips over the summer.
