Aimee Reed is a Program Manager with Global Innovation Lab (GIL), a unit of Texas Global at The University of Texas at Austin, where she supports entrepreneurs to build and scale ventures that drive sustainable international economic development. With more than 25 years of product development, branding, and marketing experience, Aimee is known for her ability to translate vision into market-ready products and strategies for world‑class global brands. Before joining Texas Global, Aimee served as Director of Production & Artisan Development at Noonday Collection, supporting more than 30 artisan‑led social enterprises across 15 countries in Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Her leadership helped strengthen supply chains, expand market access, and elevate the economic resilience of global artisan communities. Aimee’s career also includes extensive expertise in licensed consumer products and global product manufacturing, with experience spanning iconic brands such as Columbia Sportswear, Converse, Fossil, and Disney. Aimee holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of North Texas.
A native Texan who has traveled to more than 20 countries, Aimee’s passion for global cultures began while accompanying her mother, a high school counselor, on student trips abroad. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, volunteering in the community, and embracing her role as a dedicated sports mom cheering on her two kids’ athletic pursuits.
