Daniel Ach

Daniel Ach is an assistant director with Education Abroad at the University of Texas at Austin, and has been with Texas Global since fall of 2014. Before moving (back) to Texas, where he was born and raised, Daniel held a position at the Cultural Division of the Embassy of Kuwait in Washington,DC. However, much of his professional experience is in student affairs, advising students and managing residence halls at the University of Maryland - College Park, where he received his Masters in International Education Policy.
Prior to his Masters program, Daniel was a Peace Corps volunteer in Kazakhstan, where he learned Russian, taught English as a foreign language, met the love of his life, and was set on a trajectory to study and work in intercultural communication and education. Daniel received his Bachelors in English Literature from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. At Baylor, Daniel was a Resident Assistant, and studied and played double bass for a time. His first abroad experience was to Graz, Austria to play in an international music festival. If you like board games, ask Daniel about his shelfie.
