International Student and Scholar Services Photo Contest

Celebrate the diversity, creativity, and community of UT Austin’s international students and scholars through photography. Share your perspective and show what it means to be a global Longhorn.

All international students and scholars are invited to participate by submitting original photos that reflect memorable experiences at UT Austin and beyond.

Winners will be selected by Texas Global leadership and staff. One winner will be chosen in each category.

Home Countries

Show us the beauty and culture of your home country. These photos can reflect landscapes, traditions, celebrations, or anything else that gives us a glimpse into where you’re from.

Life in Austin

Capture your day-to-day experience living in Austin—from scenic walks on campus and coffee shop study sessions to favorite foods, events, and neighborhoods. We want to see how you’ve made Austin home.

Longhorn Pride

Whether you're flashing the Hook ’em sign, sporting burnt orange, or attending campus events, show us what Longhorn pride looks like through your lens.

Contest Rules

  • Photos MUST be your original work.
  • Submissions must be high-quality resolution (at least 2 MB).
  • Photos must be free of inappropriate content, including but not limited to alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs.
  • By submitting your photo(s), you grant International Student & Scholar Services the right to use them in Texas Global promotional materials, including print, digital, and social media. Images may be edited or modified.
  • You may submit multiple photos, but only one photo per category will be selected for voting.
  • Please upload all photo submissions in one batch through Image Relay.

NOTE: Please upload all your photos per category in one batch on Image Relay. You may submit as many photos as you wish. However, only one photo per category will be selected for the first round of voting.
