Workshop: What is Culture? A Live Online Learning Activity

We hear a lot about culture: culture wars, cultural identity, consumer culture, cancel culture, culture fit, cultural competence. All these different uses of the word show us that it is a dizzyingly complex idea. But what is culture anyway? How can increasing your awareness of culture — both yours and others’ — help you develop personally, academically and professionally?  

Daniel Ach, Education Abroad Senior Program Coordinator and Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, will facilitate this interactive workshop designed to guide participants through reflection toward a deeper understanding of the complexity of culture and why it matters.
