South Africa’s Vuyani Dance Theatre makes its Austin debut with a special performance of this visually stunning and critically acclaimed new work.

Blending dance, theatre, opera, and an a capella choir, Cion: Requiem for Ravel's Boléro brings literature to life set to a fresh take on Maurice Ravel’s classic composition featuring the South African style of vocal music made internationally famous by the harmonies on Diamonds on the Soles of her Shoes from Paul Simon’s Graceland.
