Peace Corps takes a different approach to making a difference. With a focus on hands-on, grassroots-driven, work and sustainability—the seemingly “small” moments can create a lasting impact for both volunteers and the communities they work with.

Come to this storytelling event and hear stories from returned Peace Corps volunteers of their inspiring, but challenging, experiences as they immersed themselves in a new culture, learned a new language, and had unforgettable moments.

The Cactus Café is an all-ages venue located within The University of Texas at Austin’s Union Building (UNB).
