An introduction to the Foreign Languages and Area Studies Fellowship (FLAS) and SAI's Summer Language Program being offered in the summer of 2026 through the South Asia Institute for undergraduate/graduate students.

Students attending the session will get a "hands on" experience of different South Asian language scripts and get to take home a unique souvenir: their name or a word of their choosing written in Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam or Tamil - or all of these languages! They will also get a taste of South Asia through a variety of snacks from the region.
