The Asia Policy Program, with the Center for East Asian Studies, is hosting Susan Shirk, Research Professor and Chair of the 21st Century China Center at the University of California San Diego and former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of East Asia and Pacific Affairs, to discuss her upcoming release, Overreach: How China Derailed its Peaceful Rise.

This talk will be moderated by Dr. Sheena Chestnut Greitens, director of the Asia Policy Program and Associate Professor at the LBJ School of Public Affairs. The Asia Policy Program is a joint effort of the Clements Center for National Security and the Strauss Center for International Security and Law.
