University Housing and Dining and Texas Global invite UT students to celebrate the beginning of International Education Week with "A Night of Global Voices."

Listen to live readings of global stories and poems from your fellow UT students, inspired by their personal experiences and family stories. Enjoy boxed snacks filled with tasty, internationally-inspired treats.

Share your global voice

UT students can submit a piece about a personal experience, family story or creative myth that touches on global and international themes. Submissions of short stories, poetry and more are due Tuesday, Nov. 10 at midnight. Authors of selected pieces are invited to perform at A Night of Global Voices to an audience of international and domestic UT students.

If attending in person, social distancing and face covering guidelines will be enforced. Please complete the symptom survey on the Protect Texas Together App prior to check-in. Since in-person capacity is limited, we highly recommend you RSVP online in advance.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and the livestream and performances start at 6:30 p.m.

If you would like to attend virtually, the event will be available via livestream on the Texas Global Facebook Page.
