ISSS July Social Hiking and Fireworks

Join us for a social evening hike along Austin's scenic Town Lake trail! We'll walk 6k (3.5 miles) from Austin Central Library to Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge along the butler trail loop, perfect for conversation and connecting with fellow international students and scholars. The hike ends with 4th of July Fireworks display from the pedestrian bridge.

• Meeting Point: Seaholm bus stop next to Austin Central Library
• Route: Austin Central Library to Mopac Bridge to Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge Loop
• Distance: 6k / 3.6 miles - Super beginner friendly especially if you are used to walking to your classes from Wampus
• Transit: Take Bus #803 from UT to downtown
• What to Bring: Dress for warm weather, optional water bottle if needed

This easy-paced hike follows the flat, well-maintained trail with beautiful lake views. It's a Great opportunity to unwind after the week and soak up the Austin Skyline Views.
