
Global Career Launch Thailand: Health Benefits of Buddhist Walking Meditation
This information session is for a Global Career Launch Internship will bring UT students to Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand to participate in collaborative international research on health benefits of Buddhist walking meditation, a unique mind-body interaction exercise that is performed by monks in Thailand.
This will be a unique, exciting, research and internship experience. The project will broaden the students’ education, exposing them to cutting-edge exercise science and biomedical research.
During their stay, the students will provide assistance in testing various physiological parameters and cardiovascular function measures in the state-of-the-art laboratory at Chulalongkorn University. The students’ overall research experience will contribute to their development as diverse, globally engaged US citizens with internationally-oriented professional skills.
