The Fulbright U.S. Student Program awards more than 2,100 grants annually to American students and professionals to study, conduct research, and serve as assistant English Teachers in 160 countries around the world.

This session will provide an overview of the Fulbright application and campus review process for the Fulbright 2026-2027 competition cycle. Fulbright proposals are due Fall 2025, but how do you get from an idea to a well-developed proposal? This workshop will assist you with strengthening your prose.

This event is for applicants interested in the Study/Research application.

To apply to the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, candidates must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen at the time of the application (permanent residents are not eligible)
  • Hold a bachelor's degree, or the equivalent, before the start of the grant
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the host country language, if required
