Documentary Screening and Q&A with Dr. Raj Patel

Attend a screening of "The Ants and the Grasshopper," a documentary directed by LBJ School professor and research professor Raj Patel, which tells the story of a Malawian activist trying to save her farm from extreme weather. The film weaves together themes of climate change, gender and racial inequality, and the gap between rich and poor, highlighting the ideas generated by groups around the world for saving the planet.

After the film, Dr. Patel will answer questions from the audience. Light refreshments will be served.
