Diarna: Documenting Jewish Sites in North Africa and the Middle East

Frances Malino, professor at Wellesly College, and Jason Guberman-Pfeffer, founding Executive Director of Digital Heritage Mapping (DHM), will introduce Diarna, the flagship project of the nonprofit group DHM. Having run over 60 field expeditions, Diarna, Judeo Arabic for “our homes," combines traditional and high-tech photography, satellite imaging, digital mapping, 3-D modeling, archival materials and oral histories.
