Día de los Huesos
Join Texas Science & Natural History Museum for Día de los Huesos (Day of the Bones)! Discover the secrets of skulls and bones in animal skeletons, and bring bones and teeth for in-person identification by a paleontologist (ID sessions take place from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 1:00-3:00 p.m.). Enjoy hands-on activities like decorating paper dinosaur skulls, and creating paper marigolds and mariposas (butterflies). Become a work of art with face painting, and catch a performance by The University of Texas Mariachi at 10:15 a.m. Visitors can complete a scavenger hunt for the chance to win a special prize (while supplies last)! All Día de los Huesos activities take place from 10am-3pm and are included with museum admission.
