Fulbright Opportunities for UT Faculty and Administrators

The Fulbright Scholar Program awards grants to U.S. faculty, administrators and professionals to lecture, conduct research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields, or to participate in seminars.

Each year, Fulbright awards approximately 470 teaching, research or combination teaching/research grants in over 125 countries.

UT Austin has a long history of alumni, faculty and staff receiving Fulbright awards to research a multitude of disciplines and attend specialized seminars across the world. As part of the university’s ongoing global engagement efforts, Texas Global encourages UT Austin faculty, staff, and alumni to learn more about the Fulbright U.S. Scholar program and consider applying.

The 2021-2022 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Competition is open. Applications are due September 15, 2020. Review criteria, eligibility and application details on the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Competition website.
