This program is sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and administered by the Council of International Exchange of Scholars, a division of Institute for International Education.

KAUST Summer Research Program

The KAUST Gifted Student Program (KGSP) is administered by Saudi Arabia’s Saudi Initiatives organization at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). The program focuses on integrated research in science and engineering, especially with regard to Saudi needs and development.

The KGSP Summer Research Program at the University of Texas at Austin is a customized research experience that includes lab experience, research support workshop, a faculty and graduate student panel presentation/Q&A, industry visits, and a poster session workshop.

In collaboration with the McCombs School of Business, we have prepared a dynamic Business and Entrepreneurship Institute at one of the world’s leading universities - The University of Texas at Austin.

Russian Business Leaders

The Russian Business Leaders (RBL) professional exchange program is Department of State program for young business professionals who are committed to driving economic development through leadership and sound business practices. It is is designed to connect leaders in the fields of business, entrepreneurship and innovation while strengthening leadership and management skills.

In order to create a network of business leaders among participants, RBL Fellows are placed in groups, or cohorts, in cities across the United States. RBL is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and administered by American Councils for International Education.

Saudi Young Leader Exchange Program

The Saudi Young Leaders Exchange Program is multi-phased leadership experience for Saudi university students and U.S. university students. Phase 1 is a 3-week U.S. program. Phase 2 involves implementing learning through an innovative project you design while in the United States. You will cultivate an entrepreneurial profile through development of workplace and personal effectiveness competencies, in addition to polishing the soft skills necessary for career success.

Over the course of your U.S. stay you will gain skills in leadership, creative program design, critical thinking, and community engagement while deepening your respect and appreciation for diversity.

Sports & Culture Immersion Program

The U.S. Sports & Culture Immersion Program is a four-week, custom designed, multi-faceted learning experience related to sport and physical education for Chinese undergraduate students studying sports management, economics, marketing and other related fields. It combines classwork, panels and a variety of excursions involving sports and physical fitness around Central Texas.

TEC Ambassador Program

The TEC Ambassador Bootcamp is a week-long program that provides professional skill-building and leadership development to students attending Tecnológico de Monterrey. Bootcamps are custom designed in collaboration with various administrative and academic departments at Tecnológico de Monterrey to provide an International Experience for students who are excelling in their academic pursuits.

Established in 2016, the TEC Ambassador Bootcamp is comprised of expert panels, group discussions, and interactive workshops aimed at giving students professional skill-building opportunities, leadership development, cultural immersion, and a glimpse of the U.S. academics atmosphere. Bootcamps can be tailored to fit any academic, professional or cultural need.

Young Leaders of The Americas

The Young Leaders of the America's Initiative (YLAI) is a two-way, global exchange program designed to enhance leadership and professional skills, and build lasting and sustainable partnerships between mid-level emerging leaders from foreign countries and the United States. Through YLAI, you will be empowered to strengthen your capacity to launch and advance your entrepreneurial ideas and effectively contribute to social and economic development in your communities.

You will be placed in a professional fellowship at a start-up, small enterprise, small business group, NGO or social enterprise; build networks, linkages and lasting partnerships to attract investments and support for your entrepreneurial ventures; and develop specific action plans to carry out upon return to your home countries; The fellowship placement is complemented by weekly virtual classroom sessions. The YLAI Fellows will also engage in community service activities to experience service learning, network with local business leaders and join cultural enrichment activities to learn more about Texan and American ways of life.
