Kate Osmond joined Texas Global as the Faculty-Led Program Coordinator for Education Abroad on Sept. 19, 2017. She earned a Bachelor’s of the Arts in Anthropology from Connecticut College in New London Connecticut. During her time as an undergraduate, she studied abroad with School for International Training (SIT) at the University of the South Pacific. She went on to pursue a Master’s in International Education from the SIT Graduate Institute in Brattleboro, Vermont.
 
Before Kate came to Texas Global, she was with the University of Washington Bothell where she served as the Assistant Director of Graduate Programs in the School of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences. Kate previously has served as an Associate Director of Admissions and Admissions Counselor for Semester at Sea with the Institute for Shipboard Education at University of Virginia. She also has previous experience as an English as a Foreign Language Teacher in China.
 
On a personal note, in her free time Kate enjoys Brazilian Jiujitsu, playing with her dogs and cooking (especially Chinese and Thai).
