Cristabella Trimble-Quiz (she/her/hers) joined Education Abroad as a Program Coordinator in May 2022. Cristabella is a native Austinite, whose passion for languages started with a desire to better understand the Spanish-speaking side of her family. She double-majored in Linguistics and Chinese at The University of Texas at Austin and studied abroad for a year in Taiwan with CIEE at National Chengchi University as a Gilman Scholar.

After graduation Cristabella returned to Taiwan as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant. She taught 1st-4th grade students in Kinmen County and junior high students in Taipei City. In 2018 Cristabella joined the First-Year Experience Office to work on programs that support transfer and neotraditional students’ transition to academic and social life at UT Austin.

Cristabella enjoys crafting, hiking, reading, baking, dance, food, and travel. She is excited to empower Longhorns to achieve their goals and change the world. Hook ‘em!
