A native Texan and UT alumna, Chris Smith joined the Office of Global Engagement and Strategy as the Global Strategies Specialist in 2022. Previously, she worked as the Sr. Administrative Associate in the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost. Having earned her bachelor's in English as a non-traditional student, she is passionate about advocating for non-traditional and first-generation students. Chris studied abroad in South Korea and is a proud Gilman and Freeman-Asia alumna.
