Anna is a dual citizen of Australia and the U.S.; she was born in Texas but moved to Tunisia when she was two when her family was transferred. She lived in Tunisia, Egypt, and the U.K. before returning to the U.S. to attend the University of Washington in Seattle where she earned a BA, double majoring in International Studies and Fine Arts. She studied abroad in Chengdu, China for one year and speaks Mandarin Chinese conversationally. After university, she worked and lived abroad in Australia and New Zealand for about 7 years before returning to Texas and beginning work at the Harry Ransom Center in January 2017. She has enjoyed getting to know and develop Intercultural Programs for the wonderful population of students and scholars here at UT.
In her spare time, Anna loves to experiment with book arts, printing technologies, and she is a member of the local chapter of the Society for Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators.
