Barbara obtained her B.A. in Anthropology from Texas State University in San Marcos. She joins us from Washington State University where she was a Global Learning Advisor for international programs.

Barbara is a native Texan, born in Dallas and raised in Austin. She considers herself a semi-amateur archaeologist who loves to visit current dig sites like the Woolly Mammoth site in Waco which is next on her list to visit. She has traveled to Canada, Belize, and Guatemala; and her goal is to visit the Netherlands, Germany, South Africa, and Peru next. Her hobbies include hanging out with her husband and three children, visiting state parks and beaches, stargazing, and gardening.
